1.What this policy covers
This policy covers payments made to TBA — the plans (such as Starter) that accountancy firms buy on our pricing page.
It does not cover payments a client makes to their accountancy firm through the portal (for example an advance for GST registration). Those go directly into the firm’s own Razorpay account, and refunds for them are decided by the firm. See Payments to your firm below.
2.How plans are delivered
TBA is an online service; nothing is shipped. When you book a plan, we review the booking and open your firm — usually within one working day — and email you. Your plan period starts on that day. You then sign in with the Google account you booked with.
3.Cancelling before your firm is opened
If you paid and want to cancel before your firm is opened, email us and we will refund the full amount, including GST. If we decline a booking, we refund it in full without you having to ask.
4.Cancelling after your firm is opened
Plans do not renew automatically, so there is nothing to cancel to stop future charges — simply don’t renew. Your plan continues to the end of the period you paid for, and your data is kept after it ends.
- Monthly plans — are not refundable once your firm is opened.
- Yearly plans — (coming soon) will be refundable in full if you cancel within 7 days of your firm being opened. After that they are not refundable for the remaining months.
- Upgrades — are not refundable, because the unused value of your previous plan has already been credited against them.
5.When we always refund
- You were charged twice for the same booking or renewal.
- You were charged but no booking or renewal was recorded.
- We close your account for reasons that are not your fault — you get back the unused part of your plan.
6.How to ask for a refund
Email tba.support@totalbusinessadvisory.com from the address on your booking with your firm name and the payment reference (it starts with pay_). We reply within 2 working days.
Approved refunds are made to the original payment method through Razorpay within 5–7 working days. Your bank or card issuer may take a few more days to show it.
7.If a plan lapses
There is no charge for letting a plan end. After a 7-day grace period the AI features switch off and new clients can’t join, but nothing is deleted, and everything resumes as soon as you renew.
8.Payments to your firm (for clients)
If you are a client and paid your accountancy firm through the portal, the payment went directly to that firm’s Razorpay account. For a cancellation or refund, contact your firm through the Messages page in your portal; their own terms apply. TBA doesn’t receive those funds and can’t refund them — but if you can’t reach your firm, write to us and we will help you get in touch.
